Source Engine Level (Half Life 2): "Waterlocked"

FPS level with an emphasis on exploration

This Half Life 2 level includes a less linear gameplay
progression than is initially expected instead being laid out more like a Metroid area, with different
routes available to the player in order to progress.

Combat has taken more of a back seat to make
more room for tension building and atmosphere

This level is set in a secret facility built inside a Dam in an unknown location, mystery serves as a theme in the level - the playable character doesn't know where they are or how they got there, and throughout the level small fragments of information can be uncovered by methods such as checking computer log files.
