Retro Impact: Shooter

Arcade-Shooter-Partygame
Originally created as a University Final Year Project,
in roughly 2-3 months

The concept behind Retro Impact was to create an
arcade shooter with a variety of different
gameplay modes, including an emphasis on multiplayer
functionality.

Although the game has been designed with consoles in
mind, it currently only functions on PC
systems, with keyboard and mouse control options for
single player modes, while multiplayer requires Xbox 360
controllers (wired or wireless)

Current Features include:
Championship Mode (in 1 and 2 player)
Leaderboards
Multiple Powerups
Striking art style which actually adds to the gameplay
Fine tuned, addictive gameplay

Winner of Digitalented Game Design Competition 2008
